Art History Talk: A tale of 2 eras

An informal talk on the common themes of Victorian painting and sculpture, and how this work relates to the art of today through several thematic case studies.

Hove: A History on Film

A presentation with film clips, focussing on Hove's rich history of early movie making and cinematic pioneering!

The Connaught Archive
Helen Goss
11.30am-3pm

An archive room where visitors can bring old photos of the Connaught Centre to be scanned and have their stories and meomories of the building digitally recorded for the Centre's archives. These will then be uploaded onto the Connaught weblog for others to enjoy.

Elements of Drawing
Lucy Parker
1-3pm

A drawing demonstration inspired by John Ruskin's 'Elements of Drawing'. The Victorian artist and critic was known for his support of Turner and the Pre-Raphaelites.
